Letter To Disconnect Request

Indifference

Would I submit to you or to obey?
vouerais my strength I will or would fear thee;
Slave or master, at least I could compel you to feel your
thing or hate me.

one day I had the unusual pleasure
In light of thirst in your heart, or to extinguish
You for necessary or terrible, and reaching
Willingly or unwillingly, this heart hitherto without desire.

Slave or master, at least I would go in your life;
captivated by me, my yoke servo
You could fly me or let me go;

But I die before your eyes away from your being intimate
Without even dare to cry, because this right of the martyr,
Your sweetness impeccable frustrates your victim.
René-François Sully Prudhomme (1839-1907).
